The premise:
Why it's great:
The offer(s):
What I'll need to know (if you don't know some of them exactly, like model or specs, it's okay):
What is the model of the computer?
What issues are you having with it?
What are your use cases?
I know this is not a lot of questions but I feel that that's all I really need to know before I open a dialogue. If they don't know model/specs, that's okay. We'll go from there.
Once I have these details, I can reach out personally (within 3 days)
The specs will help me understand what I'm dealing with. If I have to wrangle custom drivers It helps to know ahead of time. If it's really poor and can't run some kind of minified Windows, I'll push for a custom OS.
Custom OS is the initial offer. Other options can be presented as necessary.
The more specific use cases there are, the more the offer is affected.
